Minister Sonya Thomas
Minister Gwendolyn Edwards
Minister Sonya L. Thomas is a native of Meridian,
Mississippi, and the proud mother of Nia Chevvon Thomas.      
     Being baptized at an early age by the Late Rev. J.C.
Crawford began her Journey in the Beulah Baptist Church
family.  Minister Thomas currently serves as the President of
the Women's Ministry, an Adult Sunday School Teacher and
Sings on the Praise & Worship Team.        
On Sunday April 28,2002 she preached her initial sermon
"Don't Let My Past, Mess Up Your Future".  Her firm belief
is that Holiness is not a denomination, but a lifestyle. And her
desire, is to daily live holy before God and His people.

          Elder Joseph Sykes

Elder Joseph F. Sykes, Sr accepted Christ at the young age of 12 and was called into the ministry in
January 1991.  He was wedded to Belinda Tolbert in April 1992 and to this union two sons were born,
Joseph Jr. and Jorel.
Elder Sykes served faithfully down through the years as the youngest Jurisdictional Supervisor of the
Original Freewill Baptist Conference of America, Middle Eastern District until one day, October 2003
under the auspices of the Holy Ghost was led to sit at the feet of the renowned, and profound Pastor
Gerald Lydell Dickson.
He is an astute, ardent and enthusiastic lover the Word of God, and as such, he continues to study to
shew himself approved unto God, rightfully dividing the Word of Truth.  His favorite scripture is found in
2 Tim. 3:15 "And that from a child, thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise
unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus."

2005 and on May 28, 2006 she preached her initial
trial sermon "Sleeping at the feet of Boaz?

come, storms may arise and the cares of this world

Minister Edwards is the wife of Deacon Jeffrey
Edwards and they are the parents of four children,
Thomas, Krystle, Jeffrey Jr., Jonathan.
Minister Edwards serves the ministry of BBC in the
leadership capacity where God wills and the Shepherd
Both, Minister and Deacon Edwards have a great
desire to teach families and married couples that
Worship is not something that just happens in the
temple on Sundays. They view Worship as a daily
lifestyle; and realizes how important it is in todays
society for the family to worship together.

Minister Ernestine Patterson was born in Birmingham,
Alabama to the late Ernest and Ollie Wormley, the fifth of
fourteen children.  Accepting Christ at the age of twelve, her
Christian training began at the St. John Baptist Church in
Birmingham under the leadership of the late Reverend A.K.
Upon relocating to New Jersey Minister Patterson was a
member of Grace Temple Baptist Church and then joined her
late husband, Deacon Charles Robert Patterson at Greater
Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church until joining
Beulah Baptist Church in 1998.
Since joining Beulah, Minister Patterson has served faithfully
teaching in the Church, Vacation Bible School, and the Bible
Institute.  For a number of years Minister Patterson has
ministered the Word at the 40th Street Nursing Home in
Irvington along with the Willing Workers Ministry.

Minister Mattie M. Pitt was born is the small town of
Sharpsburg, North Carolina.  She is the sixth of ten children of
Mr. & Mrs. William James Taylor.  Minister Pitt is the wife of
Trustee Pitt, also of Beulah and have been married for 41
Minister Pitt Joined Beulah Baptist Church in 1980 under the
leadership of the late Rev. J.C. Crawford.  In 1997 Minister
Pitt was called by God to minister his gospel.  She accepted her
call and has been preaching "The Word" ever since.       She has
made a commitment to glorify God with a "Spirit of Excellence"
by "Having a heart and attitude of a willing vessel to serve,
and be ready to assist Pastor Dickson and the BBC family."
As she continues to go forth in ministry and she desires to stay
focused on God and to stay in his presence.
Minister Russell Frye
Minister Russell K. Frye, the second eldest of five was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey.  He received his education in the Newark Public Schools
and is a graduate of West Side High School.  He is the proud father of two, Crystal and Christopher.
In 1994, under the leadership of Pastor Ronald Hunter, Minister Frye served as an ordained Deacon until moving his membership to Zion Baptist Church.
In 1999, after running as long as he could, he yielded to the call on his life and accepted the call to preach God’s word.  In February of that same year he
preached his initial sermon and the church acknowledged and accepted him as an Associate Minister of the Beulah Baptist Church under the leadership of
Pastor Gerald L. Dickson.
In 2001, following the guidance of the Holy Spirit Minister Frye founded and is currently the Director of the Streams of Hope Outreach Ministries who’s
main mission is to address the severe needs of the community that have succumb to drug and alcohol addiction through the word of God.
Through this ministry individuals are placed in long term detox and rehabilitation programs, also out of this ministry The Teens In Christ ministry was
birthed to address the concerns and pressures that our youth face today.
Minister Frye is also the President of the Men’s Ministry of Beulah.  He is very compassionate when sharing the Word of God and is always seeking for
ways to encourage those he comes in contact with.
Realizing that having a prayer life is essential in the life of a believer, Minister Frye also currently serves on the International Board of Chaplaincy.
Minister Frye whole heartedly loves the Lord and takes seriously his work for the kingdom of God.  He constantly reminds people that this Christian walk
is a process and we must allow God to do the work in and through us.
